DNA fun

Well I did a DNA test and below is some of the obscure information I found out about, which might be quite interesting to some, it certainly surprised me. The kit I used was the MyHeritage website DNA kit, and I wasn’t impressed with the results. However because the DNA results are downloadable and I was able to upload them to a multitude of other sites, https://genomelink.io seems to have the best analysis for free at this time.

I am not sure about the “Other” section being 4.8% I would love to find out more about that. Interestingly

My Heritage interestingly shows that I am 63.7% Celtic, which is indeed interesting as that tallies with what I have been told. However MyHeritage and Genomelink give different percentages and locations I am still looking to see which is more accurate, however unless I decide to learn how to read DNA chromosomal data myself, I am unlikely to find out accurately. Although If I get bored at some point I may well try.
